POSITION OVERVIEW
Providence Theological Seminary invites applications for a full-time faculty position (Assistant or Associate rank; tenure track) in Old Testament to begin July 1, 2023. *
Applicants for this position should be committed to serving the Church. They should resonate deeply with Providence’s mission and must also be able to subscribe to the Providence Statement of Faith and the Covenant of Community Life. The successful candidate will hold a relevant PhD and exhibit competency in the Old Testament, as well as its relationship to the New Testament and Christian theology. The ideal candidate will have relevant teaching experience, and be competent to teach courses across the curriculum, including Hebrew language courses, and to direct thesis students. Pastoral experience is desirable.
*Rank and salary will be determined by qualifications and experience.
