Primary Purpose of Position:
The position will focus on teaching, research and service in the political science with a focus on classical and contemporary political theory. The position will also respond anew to the Department of Political Science program development focus on Race, Ethnicity and Immigration.

Minimum Education/Experience:
Ph.D.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
The candidate must be able to teach in the political theory sub-field with a focus on classical and contemporary theories. The candidate must also have the ability to pursue a robust academic research agenda in the subfield which will augment the department foci in race, ethnicity and immigration. The candidate must possess the abilities to engage in public and private partnerships that will enhance learning and student success.
