Job Summary/Basic Function:

The Counseling Center is committed to assisting each student reach their full potential, while fostering the institution’s mission of providing a transformative liberal arts education for intellectually curious students in a collaborative, academically vibrant residential community that values a diverse world. This position assists students and campus stakeholders by providing appropriate interventions, referrals and follow-up services to on and off-campus resources.
The clinician will provide short term, solution focused individual counseling, group counseling when appropriate, comprehensive case management, and crisis intervention for the student population.

Minimum Qualifications:

Current independent licensure in MA as a Social Worker ( LICSW ) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor ( LMHC ), or actively working towards licensure.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with College Age / Transitional Age students. Ability to speak languages other than English. Ability to work well with a variety of campus constituencies, parents, faculty, administrators etc. Experience with and ability to relate to and identify with students of diverse backgrounds and identities.
