Assistant Professor of Astronautical Engineering

The Department of Astronautical Engineering anticipates filling an Assistant Professor position effective approximately June 20, 2023.  Primary responsibilities include teaching undergraduate astronautical engineering courses. Secondary responsibilities include research, academic advising, mentoring cadets, and fulfilling department duties. A completed Doctorate in Astronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field and applicable experience are required.  Applicants will be assessed based on their teaching credentials, scholarship, service, and education. Successful applicants will possess personal attributes of integrity, industry, cooperation, initiative, and breadth of intellectual interests.
