Job Summary
The Assistant Director of Annual Fund will focus on assisting with all aspects of the annual fund and actively soliciting for Erk Russell Fund gifts, within Georgia Southern Athletics. Directly reporting to the Associate Director of Athletic Development this position will be one with travel requirements focused on building relationships and raising money.

Responsibilities
  • Perform related duties as assigned to support the mission of the University
  • Assist the Associate Athletic Director with all initiatives and duties related to the Erk Russell Fund
  • Complete at least 150 personal visits annually
  • Solicit for annual fund gifts regularly, focusing on gifts ranging from $60 up to $10,000
  • Travel 2-3 weeks out of every month, with a focus within a 3-hour radius
  • Work collaboratively with the University Foundation
  • Identify major gift prospects while visiting alumni
  • Oversee GATA Club
  • Oversee the Young Alumni and True Blue Student programs
  • Oversee all aspects of the car dealer program

Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience
  • One (1) or more years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications
Additional Preferred Qualifications
  • Use of Paciolan software

Preferred Educational Qualifications
  • Master's Degree

Preferred Experience
  • Experience will all facets of annual giving for Division I collegiate athletics

Proposed Salary
$49,400 - $52,000
