Job Title Moral Theology--Theological Bioethics Assistant/Associate/Full Professor Rank Tenure Information Tenure Track Job Description
The Providence College Theology Department invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position (open rank) in Catholic moral theology specializing in bioethics. While competence to teach Catholic bioethics to undergraduate students in the School of Nursing and Health Sciences is of primary importance, strong candidates should also demonstrate a commitment to and competence for teaching in the Providence College team-taught interdisciplinary Development of Western Civilization program.
There will also be the opportunity to teach in the Department’s graduate program. In addition to a robust record of teaching and research in the area of Roman Catholic moral theology and theological bioethics, the ideal candidate will be committed to the College’s quest to build a community informed by justice, inclusion and charity. Providence College is a Roman Catholic four-year liberal arts institution conducted under the auspices of the Eastern Province Dominican Friars and seeks candidates who can strongly affirm and contribute energetically to its Catholic and Dominican mission.

Tenure-track faculty appointments at Providence College offer competitive salaries and full benefits. The standard teaching load is 3/3, and most classes have 15-25 students enrolled. Education and Experience Required
