accounts, manages the university’s web presence, conducts media
relations, coordinates admission marketing, and supports

focused on institutional advancement communications. The
advancement communications manager is accountable for content
creation for cross-platform communications that support, increase
the engagement of, and steward alumni, parents, and other
supporters, in the areas of fundraising, career services, and
Professional Experience/ Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years experience in advancement, alumni
relations, communications, project management, marketing,
recruitment, public relations, or journalism.
- Excellent writing, editing, publication, and project management
- Demonstrated ability to be creative while under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to listen and respond to differing points
of view and the ability to move towards resolution.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite and Google docs is
- Must be capable of creating and maintaining productive and
collegial working relationships with a culturally diverse group of
faculty, staff, students, and visitors on a daily basis.
- Knowledge or experience in higher education advancement or
alumni relations preferred.
