The Payroll Department at The College of New Jersey invites applications for a Payroll Analyst. This position is a twelve-month, full time position. The Payroll Analyst will be responsible for day to day payroll operations and accuracy of the payroll systems under the direction of the payroll supervisor. To include collaboration of payroll activities with the Assistant Director, Executive Director, Human Resources and senior leadership as requested to ensure accuracy of the payroll systems to deliver the College's bi-weekly payroll cycles. This person will serve as the back-up to process flows conducted by other department administrators, if needed. Research and resolve specific payroll inquiries when applicable and identify process improvements, as related to the payroll system when applicable.

Qualifications for this position include:
  • Graduate for an accredited college with a Bachelor’s degree and/or 2-4 years payroll experience.
  • Experience with highly sensitive and confidential information.
Preferred qualifications include:
  • Knowledge of Cloud and proficiency in Microsoft Office
