Schreiner University, Kerrville, Texas, invites applications for a Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Computer Science with an anticipated start date of January 3, 2023 or later.

A Ph.D. in Computer Science with interests in game simulation, cybersecurity and/or AI is preferred, although candidates with doctoral degrees in related fields will be considered. The successful candidate will be expected to support the mission of Schreiner University and develop evidence of a clear understanding and commitment to teaching, advising, service and scholarship.

The successful applicant will be committed to excellence in teaching in both lecture and small-team environments, will have a passion for teaching and working with students, be committed to technical and professional growth, and will work collaboratively with industry partners. Additionally, a demonstrated interest in working with diverse groups of students is preferred.

Additional responsibilities include working with stakeholders in the research, design and development of quality curriculum and course materials in support of the vision and mission, and identifying and utilizing appropriate tools, techniques, best practices, reference materials and innovative approaches that support the schools' efforts to engage in all phases of curriculum deconstruction.
