The University of Bridgeport is seeking candidates for the position of Admissions Coordinator. This is considered an entry-level position . The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for data entry and processing of application materials for prospective students. This position will be located in Bridgeport, CT.

Essential Job Functions/Primary Responsibilities :

  • Perform data entry and processes all inquiries and applications for University.
  • Produce various enrollment reports.
  • Coordinate the flow of data between Admissions CRM and the University Database.
  • Execute mailings for the Admissions Office.
  • Perform special projects and additional duties as assigned by management.
  • Ensure data integrity in collaboration with Office of Institutional Effectiveness by processing corrections as needed.
  • Open, sort, and distribute mail to Admissions staff.
  • Process print orders on daily basis.
  • Responsible for creating transfer credit evaluations in a timely fashion
  • Conduct all work in a safe manner and follow all work safety practices.
Other Functions :
  • Greet prospective students and visitors.
  • Answer phones, respond to general questions, and refer callers to appropriate department and/or staff members.
  • Perform similar or related work as needed.
  • Assists other department staff as needed to promote a team effort.

Qualifications

Education, Training and Experience :
  • Associate’s Degree
  • Customer Service experience
