The University of Bridgeport is seeking candidates for the position of Admissions Coordinator. This is considered an entry-level position . The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for data entry and processing of application materials for prospective students. This position will be located in Bridgeport, CT.
Essential Job Functions/Primary Responsibilities :

- Perform data entry and processes all inquiries and applications for University.
- Produce various enrollment reports.
- Coordinate the flow of data between Admissions CRM and the University Database.
- Execute mailings for the Admissions Office.
- Perform special projects and additional duties as assigned by management.
- Ensure data integrity in collaboration with Office of Institutional Effectiveness by processing corrections as needed.
- Open, sort, and distribute mail to Admissions staff.
- Process print orders on daily basis.
- Responsible for creating transfer credit evaluations in a timely fashion
- Conduct all work in a safe manner and follow all work safety practices.
- Greet prospective students and visitors.
- Answer phones, respond to general questions, and refer callers to appropriate department and/or staff members.
- Perform similar or related work as needed.
- Assists other department staff as needed to promote a team effort.
- Knowledge of the University’s Enrollment Policies

Education, Training and Experience :
- Associate’s Degree
- Customer Service experience
