Assistant Professor - Communication Disorders - (FAC002542)

The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, a CAA-accredited program in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Houston, seeks applicants for one Assistant Professor, nine-month, tenure-track faculty position, effective Fall 2023. Qualifications include: earned Ph.D. in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field, potential for a strong record of research and scholarship, and desire to contribute to a growing, innovative program. CCCs and teaching experience are strongly preferred. Areas of need include: fluency and dysphagia, but all competitive applicants will be considered. Responsibilities include teaching graduate and/or undergraduate classes in an area of expertise that complements that of the current faculty, directing student research, and willingness to consult with clinical educators when needed.
