Job Summary

Under the direction of the Associate Director of Operations, oversee the processing of all new student applications for admissions.

Responsibilities
  • Perform related duties as assigned to support the mission of the University
  • Supervise a team of Freshman Admissions Processors and Transfer Credit Evaluators that work primarily with new and returning applicants
  • Assist the Associate Director in providing leadership and vision for the admissions operations team
  • Enter data into student record systems (Banner and Slate), monitor reports to correct applicant data discrepancies, and run admission decision processes
  • Answer routine student, parent and counselor inquiries concerning admissions policies and procedures
  • Create and maintain training documentation for processes related to Admission Operations practices and present technical processes to staff in a clear, procedural manner
  • Conduct system testing and upgrade implementations
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with Recruitment Team Leadership, coordinating cross-functional training and monitoring territory-assigned relationships.
  • Assist with large on-campus recruitment events (i.e., open houses and orientations)


Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience
  • Four (4) or more years of related work experience
  • Experience supervising professional staff


Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Educational Qualifications
  • Master's Degree

Preferred Experience
  • Experience in college admissions or enrollment management
  • Experience with student information systems, such as Banner
  • Experience with customer relationship management systems (CRM), such as Slate


Proposed Salary

$49,400 - $55,000

This is an exempt position paid on a monthly basis.
