Associate Multimedia Producer

About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Visual Content Manager, the Associate Multimedia Producer plays an instrumental role in supporting a wide range of multimedia projects for the Enrollment Management Marketing Creative Team and translating strategic marketing goals into end products that visually align with the Northeastern University value proposition, brand guidelines, and design best practices while achieving results.

Utilize experience in multimedia production involving photography (shooting and editing), videography (shooting and editing), mixed media projects, project management, proactive, professional and clear communication, and a passion for visual storytelling, to support initiatives designed to drive enrollment, produce engaging student experiences, and introduce new innovations to the higher education market. Collaborate with creative team that serves both undergraduate and graduate enrollment marketing efforts with creative assets in support of cross-channel marketing campaigns.

This role consists of hands-on video and photography post-production, identifying content media development vision and strategy, and administrative tasks related to visual content management and support to the team.

Demonstrated record of producing agency-quality, published visual content via an online portfolio with both photography and videography. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated cross-platform multimedia experience in both photography, videography, and motion graphics. Experience in shooting and editing video on Sony and Canon systems is a plus.

Advanced Experience using the Adobe Creative Suite products with emphasis on Adobe After Effects, Premiere, Lightroom, and Photoshop. Experience managing multiple projects with tight deadlines. Ability to troubleshoot, solve problems, and improve procedures with limited supervision.

Effective organizational skills and ability to work independently, and collaborative to meet deadlines.

Must be comfortable working and communicating in an academic environment with students, faculty, staff, alumni, donors, and administration. Ability to effectively mentor student workers and assure high quality work.

May require extended hours, evenings and weekends and out-of-town travel. Ability to lift 40lbs and stand for long periods of time.

Knowledge and skills required for this position are normally obtained through a bachelor's degree with a minimum of two years of work experience, preferably multimedia experience related to photography, videography, multimedia or marketing.
