Assistant/Associate Professor of Economics

The Department of Economics seeks applicants for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor to begin August 16, 2023. We are searching for a macroeconomist and are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in the areas of growth and development, monetary economics, and international macroeconomics. All faculty searches are subject to the availability of funding.

The position requires a doctoral degree in economics or closely related field by the start date of employment. Candidates at the Associate Professor level must have at least 6 years of academic and/or industry experience by the start date of employment, a record of high-impact research, and demonstrated excellence in teaching.

Assistant/Associate Professor of Accounting

The School of Accounting in the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina is seeking a high-potential faculty member who aspires to excellence in research and teaching for a tenure track Assistant/Associate Professor position beginning August 16, 2023. Teaching loads and summer support are competitive with other top-level accounting positions. All faculty searches are subject to the availability of funding.

This position requires a PhD in accounting by the start of employment (ABDs considered). Candidates for the Assistant rank must have the potential to publish their research in top-tier accounting journals and the potential for excellence in teaching. Candidates for the Associate rank must have an earned PhD in accounting, at least 5 years of relevant academic experience beyond the PhD, a publication record in top-tier accounting journals and a record of excellence in teaching. The School of Accounting has a strategic focus on experimental/behavioral accounting research. Candidates who share this focus are encouraged to apply. Candidates in all areas of accounting will be considered.
