Assistant or Associate Professor in Child and Family Studies, Tenure-Track

The Department of Human Sciences and Design at Baylor University invites outstanding candidates to apply for a tenure-track position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in Child and Family Studies within the Robbins College of Health and Human Sciences. Responsibilities of the individual who holds this position will include teaching undergraduate and graduate classes in areas such as child development, children and families with special needs, and parenting. These courses support both the undergraduate graduate degree in Child and Family Studies. The individual must demonstrate a strong research agenda with scholarly publications in peer-reviewed journals and seek and acquire external funding to support research activities.  The candidate must demonstrate exceptional teaching and mentoring skills, be proficient in curriculum assessment, and engage in industry networking. University, community and professional service is expected. The anticipated date of appointment is August 2023.
