Job Summary

The Soules College of Business at The University of Texas at Tyler (UT Tyler) is seeking applicants for one full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor in Organizational Behavior. The position starts in Fall 2023 pending final budget approval, and the salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience.

Priority application deadline is Friday, September 30th, 2022, but review of applications will begin immediately, and the position will remain open until filled.

 

Essential Functions

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Have a well-defined research stream in OB and have the potential to publish in high-quality outlets, as defined in Soules College of Business’ journal list.
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses including face-to-face and/or online delivery.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Ph.D. or D.B.A. (ABD candidates close to completion will be considered) in Management with a concentration in Organizational Behavior or closely related field.

Additional Information

The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length. This position has the option to elect the Optional Retirement Program (ORP) instead of TRS, subject to the position being 40 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.
