Description: Carroll College, a private, Catholic liberal arts college located in Helena, Montana, invites applications for two professors of Psychology to begin August 2023. We are seeking candidates with expertise in Developmental, Cognitive, and/or Social Psychology. 

We are seeking colleagues who have demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching psychology courses at introductory and advanced undergraduate levels.  Ph.D. at time of application is preferred, but ABDs will be considered.  Primary responsibilities include teaching courses in the individual’s area of expertise as well as other courses required for the major, such as General Psychology or Developmental Psychology.  The department has opportunities to help develop and support courses in the candidate’s area of expertise.  It is expected that the individual hired will be able to develop vibrant research opportunities for undergraduate students. The current position is seeking candidates available for in-person teaching.

Carroll College is a selective, catholic, liberal arts college nestled in the Rocky Mountains.  The city of Helena has access to over 75 miles of trails in the local area and is within driving distance to two incredible national parks.  Carroll College has been ranked #1 in regional college in the West for over ten years. 

Qualifications:  The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in Psychology by August 2023.  Teaching in a higher education setting as well as research experience is preferred.
