Job Description

Mizzou Advancement is seeking a dynamic team member to support the Associate Vice Chancellor for Development. The successful candidate will oversee complex and strategic scheduling and high-level relationship management for the Associate Vice Chancellor for Development, using excellent judgment, discretion and confidentiality as appropriate. This important team member will coordinate key projects, meetings, donor activities, and priorities to ensure goals and strategies are met in support of the Office of Advancement.

Other responsibilities of this role include:
  • Review and assist with verification of performance metrics, gift proposals, as well as the compilation of fundraising reports for the Associate Vice Chancellor
  • Assist with the communication and/or scheduling of appointments with key constituents
  • Review and verify information on departmental income and expense statements to ensure accuracy using knowledge of university accounting procedures;
  • Gather, organize and summarize information requested by the Associate Vice Chancellor to prepare for for meetings, events and conferences;
  • Process payments and expenses in alignment with university accounting procedures
  • Create documents and presentations including high-level writing, editing, and graphics as needed, particularly using PowerPoint and Microsoft Word
  • Other duties as assigned.
Salary

Compensation starting at $20 per hour

Grade: GGS 8

Monday thru Friday, 8 am – 5 pm

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in business administration, personnel administration, or higher education administration is necessary. Proficient use of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook; familiarity with PeopleSoft is preferred.
