A.T. Still University's Arizona School of Health Sciences (ATSU-ASHS) invites applications for an exempt Online Program Manager for the Masters of Science of Biomedical Sciences Program on the Mesa, Arizona campus. The purpose of this position is to o support MSBMS students from application through graduation. This individual is the main point of contact with MSBMS students and faculty. All day-to-day operation of the MSBMS program, including but not limited to, Student contact from application, acceptance, information systems and data management (Canvas, etc.), support student progress, facilitates policy and procedure.

This person is responsible for marketing, recruitment, purchasing for conferences, travel, exhibit at conferences, create and send faculty contracts every block, and facilitate payment. Registering students into Canvas courses including changes, monitoring student progress, grades to the Registrar, all Student Lounge and Orientation courses. Support as needed from the MSBMS Director.

Major Job Duties:
  • Maintains all communication with students in writing and by phone to ensure academic success through advising and monitoring.
  • Directly responsible for all students scheduling to maintain academic degree plans (ADPs), evaluate and adjust for scheduled changes to stay on track for graduation and meet program objectives.
  • Tracks and records incoming student progress and status of 'Complete App' through 'Future Start' and 'Schedules'. Maintains communication with admission team to ensure timely and effective matriculation.
  • Advises students one-on-one regarding academic status updates and probation to ensure compliances and continued success. Continues with regular follow-up until student is back on track.
  • Develops and tracks student remediation plans for various academic issues.
  • Responsible for data management of Student Information System and auditing student records.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Creates and sends faculty contracts each block as needed and tracks budget for adjunct pay.
  • Responsible for all content and student interaction for MSBMS Student Lounge and MSBMS Orientation courses in Canvas.
  • Acts to resolve conflict, assess and administers the necessary proceeding violations of Student Code of Conduct (Academic, Behavioral, and Professional) or grievances with faculty and academic matters.
  • In conjunctions with Director of MSBMS, collaborates and communicates with C&M with matters related to website and changes needed.
  • In conjunction with Director of MSBMS, communicates with ITS to troubleshoot and address problems related to educational technology.
Skills/Requirements :
  • Bachelor's degree plus postgraduate studies in business, communications, computer science, or other related field.
  • 1 - 2 years' experience.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Professional and technical writing skills.
  • Ability to perform duties autonomously with little or no supervision.
  • Ability to manage under stressful and diverse workloads.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality. Must be detail-oriented, organized, and possess excellent time management skills.
  • Exercises discretion and independent judgement in resolving student academic performance issues.
  • Proficient with LMS (Canvas), GoogleSuite, and interactive technology (Zoom).
  • Team-player capable of working with all departments across the university to ensure the program's success.
