Job Details
The Department of English at Carnegie Mellon has teaching opportunities for foundational writing and professional communication courses, and invites applications from qualified instructors. As the need arises, we will contact those applicants whose instructional and professional experience is a strong match for the open position(s). Positions will be part-time, non-tenure-track, and may be renewable based on availability and performance, including proven quality of instruction and dedication to participating in program assessment initiatives and ongoing educational innovations.
Qualifications
PhD or advanced degree in Rhetoric and Composition or a closely related field. Previous experience with college writing instruction and evidence of excellence in teaching required.
