Job Summary
Works with outside agencies, executive director and the Office of Admission to plan and execute strategic marketing campaigns to increase prospective student inquiries for the University. Target audiences include prospective first-year, transfer, adult, graduate, international and ELSA students. Develops measurable goals and objectives, and reports on them. Supports mission, vision and values.

Employee is subject to indoor work, protected from weather conditions. Work is sedentary in nature and involves exerting up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently/constantly in order to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move object.

Essential Functions
- Serves as a marketing liaison with the Office of Admission.
- Manages advertising budget for graduate studies.
- Coordinates with advertising agencies and the executive director on the development of messaging, creative and media planning for integrated marketing campaigns while ensuring all collateral adheres to University brand standards.
- Oversees the design of various marketing materials for recruitment purposes and events, and coordinates with printers for production of materials.
- Creates content and manages promotional efforts for new programs and events.
- Collaborates with internal departments, advertising agencies and external vendors.
- Partners with admission on media attribution and CRM strategies.
- Gathers and analyzes data to assess the effectiveness of advertising.
- Reports on admission marketing updates to various stakeholders, including the Board of Trustees, as needed.
- Assists Office of Marketing and Communications team on select non-admission projects.
- Supervises student workers and/or interns as needed.
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to continuous improvement.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or a related field.
- Strong project management, organizational and interpersonal skills, along with a demonstrated attention to detail.
- Capacity for managing a robust workload and balancing a wide variety of tasks while hitting established project deadlines.
- Technologically proficient, especially in word processing, email, and other communication tools.
- Proficiency in communication and relationship building via in-person meetings, and through the telephone and electronic media with a wide range of on- and off-campus constituents, especially the University’s agency partners.
- Ability to work both independently and as a contributing team member.
- Interest in maintaining high standards and improving personal skills and abilities.
- A demonstrated passion for working in a creative environment.
- Three-plus years of digital marketing experience.
- Five-plus years of digital marketing experience.
- Prior use of CRM platforms (especially Slate).
- Agency or higher education background a plus.
