Associate Director of CPE Operations and Project Management.

Under the refreshed NC State Continuing and Lifelong Education (NCSCaLE) division of the Provost, the Associate Director of Operations and Project Management for Continuing and Professional Education (CPE) is a critical member of NCSCaLE. This position reports to the Director of CPE in overseeing the project management and operations function of the CPE team of which the McKimmon Conference and Training Center, Office of Professional Development, Customized Training and Development, Audiovisual and Technology Services, Upper Coastal Plain Learning Council, The Collaborative, and Print Services are housed.

The Associate Director will liaise with the other NCSCaLE units including the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, Center for Urban Affairs and Community Service, the Business and Finance Office, Marketing Services, and the Office of the Vice Provost. This position is responsible for managing and allocating resources for OPD conferences and programs and continually evaluating and making recommendations to the Director of Continuing and Professional Education for improvement in all areas of operation of the unit.

This position will also be responsible for developing a plan aimed at maximizing efficiency and effectiveness to support the delivery of the highest quality programs and conferences and coordinating workflows for the marketing, recruitment and registration, and client service operations for Continuing and Professional Education. While the Office of Professional Development will be a primary area of focus, the position collaborates closely with the CPE Director, the Assistant Director of OPD, the Associate Director of MCTC, and the Associate Director of TC/UCPLC to ensure operational excellence within and across units.

This position will also collaborate closely with the Associate Director of Marketing Services and the Finance and Administration office to ensure the maximization of efficiencies between CPE units and the marketing and finance/administration areas. The Associate Director is regularly sought out by CPE colleagues for expertise and advice in all areas of operations.
