Our Office of Undergraduate Admission is looking for a Part Time Assistant Director of Admission to support a dynamic and growing team. The Undergraduate Admission office is a fast-paced office within a highly selective university, offering a diverse environment and variety in the workload. We are looking for someone who will demonstrate positive relationship building skills, an outgoing and positive approach, excellent communication, and a keen attention to detail. Flexibility and your ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities will be key to success in this role as well.

As a Part Time Application Reader/Presenter, you will support the Office of Undergraduate Admission through participating in the application evaluation process, presenting the on-campus Information Session, and assisting occasionally with online programming. The position would be year-round with application review primarily in late fall/winter and presentations in spring and summer. Weekend presentations are required.

Work Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum one year of related experience is required
Required Minimum Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree
Type of Required Experience:
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and organizational skills are required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Proven proficiency with technology OR technology user
Preferred Experience:
  • Prior admission/recruiting and/or secondary education experience
  • Advising or work with a community-based organization advancing education and career opportunities
  • Experience advocating for students from historically underrepresented backgrounds
