Team Cleaning Specialist - Multiple Shifts
Location: Moscow

Pay Range: $15.00 per hour or higher DOE - additional 5% for night shift

Position Summary:
The Team Cleaning Specialist is responsible for maintaining clean and orderly facilities for students, faculty, staff and visitors. They will secure assigned buildings and respond to special cleaning requests. As part of a self-directed team, they will take initiative to schedule cleaning and maintenance activities.
- Performing all basic cleaning, sanitization and trash collection in and around residences halls and university buildings
- Ensuring that all assigned buildings are locked as scheduled, and opening rooms and buildings as scheduled
- Monitors and maintains the organization of assigned areas
- Maintaining clean and clear walkways to ensure they are free of debris, litter, snow, and
- Maintaining cleaning equipment and supplies
- Notifying occupants of cleaning and floor maintenance schedules
- Maintaining cleaning equipment and supplies

- Responding to emergencies and assisting other departments when needed to ensure optimum service
- Assisting with training new employees
- Other Duties as assigned.

Three shifts available, working full-time, 40 hours per week:
- Days: 4:00am to 1:00pm or 6:30am to 3:00pm
- Swing: 4:00pm to 1:00am or 6:00pm to 2:30am
- Night: 7:00pm to 5:30pm
Minimum Qualifications:
- None
- Experience performing cleaning tasks
- Experience working in a team-oriented environment
- Expressed interest in leaning and acquiring skills related to custodial services
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience operating industrial high-speed cleaning equipment; performing minor maintenance on custodial equipment; and explaining the use and maintenance of custodial equipment.
- Demonstrated attitude toward customer satisfaction and continuous quality service improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and cooperate with others
- Demonstrated reliability/dependability through work history, school or references
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
- Bend, stoop, lift and move items weighing up to approximately 50 pounds
- Stand and walk continuously throughout the shift
- Climb and stand on ladders
Required Licensures, Certifications or other
- Some positions require a valid motor vehicle operator’s license and be able to meet policy requirements for driving University vehicles
- Must be at least 18 years of age
