Associate Professor of Econometrics

The University of California Riverside, Department of Economics, invites applications for a faculty appointment in Econometrics at the Associate Professor level. The successful candidate would have a state-of-the-art research program and would be a developer of new econometric methods in any area of econometrics. We are particularly interested in candidates working on high dimensional models and machine learning methods.

Applicants should have an established record of outstanding research accomplishment and be committed to an active research program. They should have a proven record of mentoring and guiding research of doctoral students, a proven record of excellence in teaching graduate and undergraduate students, and a record of leadership or potential for leadership. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Economics or a related field at the time of application.
