Director of the Crews School of Accountancy (CSOA)

The Fogelman College of Business & Economics is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Director of the Crews School of Accountancy (CSOA), effective no later than Fall 2023. The CSOA faculty consists of two Chairs of Excellence and 12 research-oriented full-time faculty. The School offers BBA, MS, and Ph.D. degrees; all programs are fully accredited by AACSB International with curriculum successfully updated to comply with the new CPA Exam requirements.  The University of Memphis recently achieved R1 status and actively supports and values faculty research.  The Director provides academic and administrative leadership for all operations of the CSOA while maintaining effective, collegial, and respectful working relationships within school, college, and university. The Director position is an academic-year appointment with additional compensation for summer responsibilities. Qualifications include an earned doctorate with specialization in accounting, an established record of professional accomplishment, ability to provide academic leadership and maintain external relations, and knowledge of AACSB accreditation policies and practices.
