Assistant/Associate Director of Alumni Engagement. This position
will develop cohesive and compelling engagement and philanthropic
opportunities as part of a comprehensive Alumni and College
Advancement program. This position is responsible for developing
and maintaining a comprehensive portfolio of digital engagement and
volunteer management strategies to increase involvement among
Cornell alumni with a specific emphasis on young alumni, future
alumni, class reunions, targeted affinity groups, and within
geographic regions. They will work extensively with alumni
volunteers and campus partners to enhance opportunities to support
the strategic goals of the college's alumni engagement and annual

Bachelor's degree required. Three to five years in fundraising,
marketing, event planning, sales or public relations preferred.
Excellent communication skills, including writing and presentation
skills. Strong organizational and project management skills.
Knowledge of liberal arts education.
Ability to communicate effectively, interact professionally in a
variety of situations (in person and on the telephone). Ability to
maintain confidentiality. Must have valid Iowa driver's license and
be insurable to drive.
