Job Description:
Germanna Community College is a two-year public institution of higher education in the Virginia Community College System. As a comprehensive community college, Germanna provides quality, accessible, and affordable educational opportunities for the residents of the City of Fredericksburg and the counties of Caroline, Culpeper, King George, Madison, Orange, Spotsylvania and Stafford.

Adjunct faculty members are responsible for effectively planning and teaching courses in a classroom environment to students with a variety of academic backgrounds and experiences.

Germanna Community College invites applications for part-time adjunct faculty positions for the surgical technician program.

All teaching positions of Germanna Community College require the ability to teach in a variety of modalities including virtually. Teaching faculty must demonstrate competency and commitment to continuous professional development in virtual education.

All faculty at Germanna are required to successfully complete Growing with Canvas and TOPS 2.2

KSA's/Required Qualifications:
Credential in the field of Surgical Technology

Minimum of two years of experience in the operating room as a Surgical Technologist or as a
instructor in Surgical Technology

Preferred Qualifications:
Associate’s degree with a credential in the field of Surgical Technology with at least two years of experience in the field

Experience as an instructor in Surgical Technology
