INTRAMURAL SPORTS PROGRAM ASSISTANT


The Intramural Sports Program Assistant will assist in a wide variety of administrative duties in the areas of program administration, communications, policy and procedures review and other duties as assigned. This position will report to the Intramural Sports Coordinator.


PAY RATE: $14/hour


QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 1 semester’s experience as an Intramural Sports Supervisor
• Ability to work at least 10-20 hours per week in the office
• Ability to work nights and weekends as needed

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Assisting the effort to hire, onboard, train, schedule, supervise and evaluate intramural officials and/or supervisors.
• Update information on IMLeagues
• Assist with laundry
• Review emails from intramural captains and participants and respond in a timely manner
• Review Supervisor Nightly Reports
• Ensure first aid packs are fully stocked prior to each supervisor shift
• Assist with inventory and ordering additional supplies
• Assist with scheduling intramural events including regular season and postseason tournaments.
• Ensure Structured Sports Office organized and clean
• Ensure staff have the appropriate certifications
• Assist with ensuring accidents and incidents are documented and followed up properly.
• Assist with the planning and facilitation of regular staff meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
