University Residence Manager
$24.35 per hour or higher depending on
The University Residence Manager is responsible for the general
organization, maintenance and management of the university-owned
residence of the president of University of Idaho. The position
manages all aspects of internal and external home management
including housekeeping, dining, facilities, procurement of supply
services, events, personal services and special assignments. The
University Residence Manager is expected to conduct assessments of
the residence depending on the practical need of the residents. The
Manager also will perform some of the light duty routine
maintenance and is the initial point of contact for the residence
and communicates regularly with a variety of internal/external
contacts to coordinate all aspects of the house management.
Advanced planning and coordination of services is essential to
ensuring that the house is maintained and managed at the desired
level. The position reports to the AVP for Auxiliary Services with

Required Licensures, Certifications or other
- The position requires the ability to operate standard
housekeeping equipment including, among others, a vacuum, buffer,
floor machine, wet/dry vacuum, washing machine and dryer.
- Ability to use stairs
- Must have valid driver’s license and ability to meet U of I
- Work a nonstandard schedule as needed.
