The Department of Fine Arts at Auburn University at Montgomery invites applications for a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor in Spatial Studies and 3D Printing. This position is a one-year, renewable (up to 3 years), non-tenure track faculty position. AUM has an official 4/3 teaching load. Faculty with ongoing scholarship and publication usually receive a course release for a normal 3/3 load. Internal funding to support scholarship is available. Service to the department is expected.

Required Qualifications:
Candidate must have a Master of Fine Arts in studio art or sculpture or its equivalent from an accredited institution by June 01, 2022. One year of undergraduate teaching experience is preferred.

Position Description:
The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in 3-D design, 3D printing, and beginning through advanced levels of sculpture. It is expected that the individual will incorporate digital technology into the curriculum.
