Job Details

The University of North Alabama's department of Politics, Justice, Law, and Philosophy in the College of Arts, Sciences, & Engineering invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Philosophy program. AOS: Value Theory/Ethics, AOC: Open. The position will entail teaching four undergraduate courses per semester, at least three of which will be in Business Ethics. Candidates must offer evidence of teaching excellence and be prepared to teach courses in introductory philosophy. The position will begin in August of 2023. Minimum qualifications for this position include: Doctorate in Philosophy is required, and ABD candidates will be considered, provided the Ph.D. is completed by the time of the appointment.
