Xavier University of Louisiana, a storied university with a history and alumni achievements known throughout the world, invites nominations and applications for the position of Vice President for Enrollment Management. Xavier is located in New Orleans and is the nation's only Historically Black and Catholic institution of higher learning. Founded in 1925, the University is mission driven and committed to the promotion of a more just and humane society. Reaffirming its African American heritage and its Catholic tradition as it prepares to celebrate its Centennial, Xavier continues to offer its students a superb education and leadership development experiences, which are substantial and enduring.

The University consists of two colleges: the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) and the College of Pharmacy (COP). The College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) consists of 17 Academic Departments, which are organized into four divisions and two standalone divisions: Biological and Applied Health Sciences; Business; Education and Counseling; Fine Arts and Humanities; Mathematical and Physical Sciences; and Social and Behavioral Sciences. The College of Arts and Sciences offers three bachelor's degrees: the Bachelor of Arts, the Bachelor of Music, and the Bachelor of Science. In addition, the CAS provides the Master of Arts in Counseling, Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction, Master of Arts in Teaching, Master of Science in Health Informatics, Master of Public Health-Health Equity, Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology, Master of Theology, Master of Arts in Educational Leadership, and Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership. The College of Pharmacy (COP) consists of two academic divisions, the Division of Basic Pharmaceutical Sciences and the Division of Clinical and Administrative Sciences. Xavier's College of Pharmacy houses three health professional programs: a Master of Health Sciences in Physician Assistant Studies, a Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences, and a comprehensive entry-level Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D.) Program. The University also offers three certificate programs: Entrepreneurship, Health Communications, and Spanish for Health Professionals. The fall 2021 University enrollment was 3,604 students, of which 2,749 (76%) enrolled as undergraduates in the College of Arts and Sciences. A further 236 students enrolled in Master's and Doctoral programs in the College of Arts and Sciences. In addition, 613 students enrolled in the College of Pharmacy. There are 253 full-time faculty members with 95% holding the terminal degree.

DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS
The Vice President for Enrollment Management (VPEM) reports to the Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost and is responsible for the development and implementation of the University's enrollment management plan and establishes the strategic enrollment priorities to support the University's Mission. The following offices report to the VPEM: Admissions, Student Financial Aid, and the Registrar. The VPEM also works collaboratively with the Offices of Student Success, Institutional Research and Decision Support, Institutional Advancement, Fiscal Services, and Student Affairs, as well as the Office of Student Affairs in the College of Pharmacy, to achieve enrollment and retention goals.

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree (master's preferred), successful and progressive professional and leadership experiences suitable for appointment at the vice-presidential level, and demonstrated success in planning, developing, and implementing comprehensive enrollment management initiatives while collaborating with constituencies across an institution.
