The College of Lake County is hiring several adjunct faculties for Mechatronics/Mech. Eng. Tech/Industrial Maintenance/ PMT to teach courses in our Mechatronics and Precision Machining Technology ( PMT ) certificate program. The courses are in the areas of Mechanical, Maintenance, Hydraulics, Pneumatics and Robotics, Precision Machining Technology, etc.

Required Qualification
Associate’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance and Repair, or related field.

Also required are a minimum of seven (7) years related industrial experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems. Strong oral communication skills, professional attitude, attention to detail, and desire to help others succeed in their career goals are essential.

A minimum of (3) years related experience in system level troubleshooting on an automated cell that includes Siemens PLC’s, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Electrical controls, and Motors.

Teaching/training experience is highly desired.
