Position Summary:
Monmouth University is seeking applications for an Instructor in the Criminal Justice department. This position is for the 2022-2023 academic year, and is a one-year appointment with the possibility of subsequent reappointment. Applications received by June 30, 2022 will receive fullest consideration. This search will remain open until filled.

The selected candidate will instruct 12 credits per semester in a dynamic undergraduate BA program (200+ majors).

Other Requirements:
Master’s degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, or a related field. One year of experience teaching university-level criminal justice, homeland security, and related courses.

Preferred Qualifications:
Work experience in Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, and related fields. Experience counseling in career, employment, and internship issues. Knowledge of employer recruiting strategies, market trends, and employment information sources. Knowledge of university infrastructure, policies, and procedures.
