Job Description:

The Department of Biological Sciences in the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics at the University of Toledo seeks to fill a tenure-track assistant professor faculty position in Neuroscience. Facilities include a modern research complex with sophisticated laboratories and access to outstanding research instrumentation including confocal and super-resolution microscopes, flow cytometers/cell sorters, and a new transmission electron microscope.

The successful candidate is expected to advance excellence in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Toledo by establishing an externally-funded research program and contributing to undergraduate and graduate education. The department offers B.A., B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees.

Our application process requires the submission of an original Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Statement that discusses your past and/or planned contributions to a culture of equity and inclusion in the areas of research, teaching, or service. In this statement, the applicant should also reflect upon their experiences and vision regarding how their values and experiences advance diversity, equity, and inclusion in working with students, faculty, and staff.
