The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Houston invites applications for a non-tenure track Promotion Eligible (NTT) faculty in the rank of “Instructional Assistant Professor” to begin January 2023. Successful applicants will join the newly created Construction Engineering undergraduate degree at the University of Houston at Katy. UH at Katy is a satellite campus located in Katy, Texas, 30 miles to the west of the central campus. All administration, advising, and instruction for the construction engineering program will occur at the Katy campus.

The ideal applicant for each of the position will be able to demonstrate the ability to function in a collaborative atmosphere with multiple stakeholders. Candidates must possess a solid commitment to engineering education and should demonstrate excellent communication skills. Qualifications :

Applicants must possess a Ph.D. in Construction Engineering or a related field.
