The Department of Management & Organization invites applications for two full-time tenure-track Assistant Professors for the 2023-2024 academic year, with an anticipated start date of September 16, 2023. Assistant Professors have an annual service period of nine months. University of Washington faculty members engage in research, teaching, and service.
The successful candidates will perform research in macro subject areas, which may include strategy and/or entrepreneurship. Teaching responsibilities will focus on entrepreneurship, strategy, and innovation.
Candidates must have or be nearing completion of a PhD or foreign equivalent in Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship, Organizational Behavior, Management Science, Business Administration, Economics, Sociology, or other related field. A qualified candidate may be considered for temporary appointment as an Acting Assistant Professor, pending PhD, with conversion to appointment Assistant Professor after degree conferral if the terminal degree has not been conferred by the position start date.
