Job Summary:
The School of Psychology and Counseling, Fairleigh Dickinson University invites applications for a tenure track position at the assistant professor level for an Industrial/Organizational Psychologist beginning August 2023. This position includes teaching, research, and service. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellence in teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in I/O Psychology. This individual will be expected to have administrative involvement in our virtual I/O master’s program for students living in China in addition to working with our New Jersey-based graduate and undergraduate programs. An earned doctorate in I/O Psychology or a closely related field is required as well as evidence of scholarly research productivity.
The School of Psychology and Counseling has two campuses in New Jersey. This position will be located on the Florham Campus of Fairleigh Dickinson University in Northern New Jersey. The Florham campus offers graduate programs in I/O Psychology and Clinical Mental Health Counseling. The Metropolitan campus offers Doctoral Programs in Clinical and School Psychology; Master’s Programs in Psychopharmacology, Forensic Psychology, General Theoretical Psychology, and School Psychology; and an Undergraduate Program in Psychology with tracks in forensic psychology, mental health, organizational behavior, and consumer psychology
Required Qualifications:
This individual will be expected to have administrative involvement in our virtual I/O master’s program for students living in China in addition to working with our New Jersey-based graduate and undergraduate programs.
An earned doctorate in I/O Psychology or a closely related field is required as well as evidence of scholarly research productivity.
Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check. Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the background check and produce a Social Security Card.
