Position Summary:
Monmouth University is seeking applications for an Assistant Director of Athletic Communications.

The candidate would be expected to: perform all media relations duties and promotion pertaining to specified men's and women's programs, including at least two major sports programs; assist in athletics events, including the year-end athletics awards banquet; assist in the direction of all aspects of running the day-to-day operations of the Athletics Communication Office; compile and organize recent and historical statistical information; coordinate press-related activities.

Required Degree, License or Certifications:
Bachelor's degree

Required Skills or Software:
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, Must have an understanding of the University's concern for academics as well as athletic excellence

Required Years of Experience:

Other Requirements:
Collegiate communications experience. Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations along with sports information experience, including StatCrew software. Ability to work evening and weekend hours and travel as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:
Publication design experience with InDesign and Photoshop. Experience using a variety of social media platforms, and experience designing documents for print and production.
