Job Summary

The Office of Institutional Equity and Compliance (OIEC) at CU Boulder is currently seeking candidates for an open Investigator position with our case resolutions team. We seek candidates whose professional service and life experience have prepared them to contribute to our dedication to a culturally diverse, equitable, and inclusive higher education community.
The Investigator is a strategic position that aids in the prevention and elimination of incidents of protected class harassment, discrimination, sexual misconduct, intimate partner violence, stalking, and related retaliation at CU Boulder. Investigators educate the CU Boulder community about the University's policies on sexual misconduct, protected class discrimination, and harassment, and amorous relationships and advise these constituents about the procedures to file a complaint and the grievance and adjudication processes. The Investigator works with others on the team to address allegations of potential policy violations and use other remedies-based options to tailor specific resolutions to the unique facts and circumstances of an incident(s).
Investigators work collaboratively with numerous on and off-campus resources, such as the Office of Victim Assistance, Office of Student Conduct and Conflict Resolution, Residence Life, CU Police Department, Student Support and Case Management, Office of University Counsel, Gender and Sexuality Center, Counseling and Psychiatric Services, ADA Compliance, Human Resources, Ombuds Office, Faculty Affairs, Boulder Police Department, Moving to End Sexual Assault (MESA), and Safehouse Progressive Alliance for Nonviolence (SPAN).
