Essential Functions
  • Contact, qualify, and build relationships with prospective graduate students. Share information regarding admission and graduation requirements and sources of funding.
  • Responsible for recruitment/enrollment initiatives for assigned graduate degrees and certificate programs with an emphasis on nursing/health care programs
  • Utilize CRM and CAS systems to run queries and track the progress of inquiries and applicants throughout the enrollment process.
  • Generate applications from qualified perspective students following up routinely until admission files are completed and ready for review by the respective graduate program director.
  • Post admission decision, works with admitted students to obtain tuition deposit and register for courses.
  • Participates in graduate on campus, off campus, and virtual recruitment events, graduate school fairs, and conferences.
  • Maintains general knowledge of all graduate degrees and certificate programs offered by the University. Demonstrates specific knowledge of assigned programs and respective employment fields.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution or foreign equivalent
  • Demonstrated 3-5 years of work experience in higher education recruitment/ admissions.
  • Experience recruiting non-traditional students.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills and exceptional time management skills.
  • Self-starter with a focus on attention to details.
  • Proficient with MS Office applications, CRM (slate preferred) and SIS (Elucian-Colleague preferred) systems, Central Application Systems ( CAS ), and Zoom.
  • Understanding of higher education in particular of private liberal arts institutions and their mission.
  • Must be responsive and adaptable to a fast-paced environment with fluctuating responsibilities and multiple project deadlines.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to personal transportation for off campus events; expenses reimbursed per University policy.
  • Ability to carry and lift display and promotion material, approximately 30 pounds.
  • Evening and weekend hours as assigned.

  • Employee is subject to indoor work, protected from weather conditions.
  • Work is sedentary in nature and involves exerting up to 25 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently/constantly in order to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move object.
