Description:

The Department of Biomedical Engineering at Rowan University is seeking ¾ time applicants for a non-tenure track position to teach undergraduate/graduate core and elective courses within the Department of Biomedical Engineering. Successful candidates are expected to have demonstrated excellence in teaching and mentoring and have excellent written and oral communication skills.

Qualifications:

A Ph.D. in biomedical engineering and a baccalaureate degree from an ABET‑accredited engineering program (or equivalent) are required. In addition, the successful candidate is expected to have excellent written and oral communication skills.

The College of Engineering has undergraduate and graduate degree programs in Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Electrical and Computer, Mechanical Engineering, and Experiential Engineering Education. Biomedical Engineering is one of our newest departments and is in a period of substantial growth.

Major metropolitan areas within the Northeast Corridor are within easy reach of Glassboro. Philadelphia is a thirty minute drive, New York City and Washington, D.C. are less than three hours away, and Jersey beaches are only an hour drive.
