Salary: $15.00 per hour

The College is looking for exceptional colleagues to join the MVCC community. We are currently seeking a part-time Figure Drawing Model in the School of Art. The Figure Drawing Model is responsible for posing nude for Figure Drawing 1 and Figure Drawing 2 students. These classes rely solely on a model for the work that students produce. The instructors use a variety of different poses to challenge students, the model’s capability determines the level of challenge. Since students rely on the models to produce work, reliability and punctuality are essential.

The available shifts are as follows:

Mondays: 8:00am – 11:00am & 11:15am – 2:20pm & 2:30pm – 5:35pm
Tuesdays: 8:00am – 11:00am 11:15am – 2:20pm & 2:30pm – 5:35pm
Wednesdays 8:00am – 11:00am & 11:15am – 2:20pm & 2:30pm – 5:35pm
Thursdays: 8:00am – 11:00am & 11:15am – 2:20pm & 2:30pm – 5:35pm

Qualifications:


Required Qualifications:
  • Must be able to hold a pose for twenty minutes at a time
  • Must be able to take direction to achieve a variety of different poses as the instructor chooses
  • Must maintain ethical and professional behavior
  • Must be punctual and reliable
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Nude figure drawing model experience
