The Department of Mathematics at California State University San Marcos seeks a part-time lecturer for Fall 2022 to teach Math 105 - Supported College Algebra. The catalog description is: College algebra with integrated review of intermediate algebra. Includes graphs, equations, inequalities, and functions (linear, polynomial, rational, root, exponential, logarithmic).

Corequisite: Math 005

The course meets usually for 5 hours per week and is a lecture and a recitation section.

Minimum qualifications:
  • A Master's degree in Mathematics or similar field (if applicant does not have a Master's Degree, then a Ph.D. shall be required).
  • Per the California State University’s Out-of-State Employment Policy, the CSU is prohibited from hiring employees to perform CSU-related work outside California. Working in the State of California is a condition of employment
Preferred qualifications:

Salary commensurate with degree level and experience
