Job Description:

GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Admissions Recruiter will be responsible for high-touch communications recruiting and retention efforts for the Aviation Maintenance Technology (AMT) Program. The Aviation Industry is on the rise and looking for professional, highly skilled, and trained mechanics. As the industry aims to ensure it has enough technicians to keep aircraft flying in the coming years, it emphasizes an obvious solution: Increase enrollment in Aviation Maintenance Technology (AMT) programs with the need for over 650,000 technicians over the next 30 years.

This role includes responsibility for the delivery high touch point recruitment activities and requires a thorough knowledge of academic programs, financial aid and educational costs, and leveraging communication and recruitment tactics to drive student participation. The ideal candidate will be energetic, driven, and enthusiastic as well as comfortable using a variety of technology platforms and programs to aid in recruitment in enrollment efforts. The Admissions Recruiter is a flexible, hybrid position offering on-site and remote work hours determined by operational needs and recruitment schedule.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:

  1. Recruit prospective students through timely follow-up on all types of leads via multiple communication channels including phone, email, and virtual modalities.
  2. Provide extensive admissions recruitment activities to increase application conversion.
  3. Facilitate tours of the Aviation Hangar at the Plymouth Airport and engage with prospective students and families.
  4. Plan, schedule, and deliver virtual and remote information sessions for the AMT Program that cover educational costs, academic and career opportunities, student services, etc.
  5. Seek out and participate in recruitment events including career fairs and college fairs.
  6. Connect with industry professionals and organizations to create pathways for recruitment of prospective AMT students.
  7. Use College technology to monitor and track recruitment activities and lead generations including social media platforms.
  8. Maintain professional knowledge within the areas of Enrollment Management including admissions, financial aid, and registration.
  9. Perform related duties as directed.



Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

  1. Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, or closely related field plus two (2) years of experience and/or training involving college admissions, enrollment, student services or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  2. Recruitment or sales related experience.
  3. Experience using multiple channels for communication including phone, e-mail, and social media.
  4. Experience working within an education setting.
  5. Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite.


ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

  1. Experience working within customer service and sales driven environments.
  2. Experience in maintaining a customer data base and customer tracking.
  3. Experience in event planning and event marketing.
  4. Experience in giving presentations and tours.
  5. Willingness to travel.
  6. FAA A&P certification or experience working in the aviation industry.

Additional Information:

COMPENSATION : Full-time MCCC/MTA Unit Position, Admissions Counselor (Grade 3) with annual salary range of $47,597 - $60,468. Actual salary will be consistent with the MCCC/MTA Collective Bargaining Agreement, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Includes participation in a comprehensive employee benefits program including option to participate in Massachusetts State Employees' Retirement System.
