Under general supervision is responsible for all aspects of admissions processing for prospective high school and transfer applicants to the University, including application processing, transcript evaluations, transfer advising, and customer service. Activities includes cross-training with other areas under Student Enrollment Success areas for domestic and international admissions, along with other duties as assigned. Essential Duties Summary
  • Processes undergraduate admission applications by retrieving applications form the ApplyTexas website, and other web-based applications, inputting admissions data into the integrated student portal (job-related software and systems), and completing the application process for all prospective applicants.
  • Reviews high school and college transcripts to satisfy admission requirements for prospective first-year applicants and current/former students.
  • Processes ACT and SAT college admission test scores to complete high school applications.
  • Updates applications with appropriate application fee or fee waivers to complete application process. Reviews fee waiver requests for approval.
  • Receives, organizes and processes files and other admission related documents for prospective students.
  • Serves as initial point of contact ( POC ) and provides customer service for all prospective admission applicants. Responds to all inbound inquiries regarding admissions processes to include phone, email, and in –person inquiries.
  • Works with other areas within Enrollment and Student Success to provide information about the University’s enrollment services.

Some college or Associate’s degree (A.A.) and/or vocational or technical school and/or specialized training or certification. Required Licensing/Certification
Valid Texas Driver’s License preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of:

  • Microsoft Office Professional or similar applications.

Work Experience
One (1) to three (3) years of related experience. Working/Environmental Conditions
  • Prolonged standing and/or walking.
