Job Details
The Ausborn lab is seeking a research assistant for a project investigating sensorimotor transformations.
Essential Functions
- Computational modeling of neurons and neuronal networks using Python and NEURON
- Procession of experimental data, including but not limited to electrophysiology, histology imaging, EM, and sequencing
- Assemble findings in professional figures and publications
- Present progress reports to the group
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Neuroscience, Computer Science, or relevant field
- Programming experience in Python and NEURON
- Research experience with Drosophila melanogaster
- Typically sitting at a desk/table
