The Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), part of the State University of New York and an internationally renowned college of art, design, business and technology with a strong emphasis on liberal arts, invites applications for a adjunct teaching positions in Photography and digital Filmmaking.


JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Photography Department at FIT seeks qualified instructors for adjunct positions in photography and digital filmmaking.

The FIT Photography Department offers degree courses for two programs: Photography & Related Media and Film & Media. The Department seeks applicants with strong skills and industry experience in both still photography and filmmaking to teach courses on photography, lighting, Photoshop, digital filmmaking, cinematography, and editing. Specific experience with cinematography and film production preferred.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Photography/Digital Video required, MFA preferred.
  • 6 years of experience in the photography/video industry required.
  • Teaching experience
  • Strong digital imaging skills
