Job Description
Provides technical support to faculty and students of the Fine Arts Building and other studio spaces. Maintains the health and safety within lab spaces and provides access to spaces, equipment and technology. May assist in gallery exhibitions, including through specialized art handling and installation.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. The University will not sponsor applicants for this position for employment visas.

Salary
Pay commensurate with education and experience.
Hiring Range: $13.27 - $15.00 Hourly

University Title: Research/Lab Technician Sr.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
Preferred Qualifications
BFA degree or equivalent and at least three-years experience with studio art lab equipment (including printing presses, kilns, basic hand tools), machine- and computer-based technology needed to maintain health and safety and to support educational artistic practice. Experience with higher education art studios.
